Magazine 9.5\" x 12.5\" w/UV Mylar bag

Magazines come in a variety of sizes and thicknesses. Customizing the thickness is no problem. Examples would be 1/8", 3/16", or 1/4". A 36 page comic is about 1/6" thick. 80 pages is about 1/8" thick. 126 pages is about 3/16" thick. Magazines do range in thickness, so please list yours in the note section

Frames are based on Mylar Bag sizes. Choosing the right size frame can be difficult. In general you need to add at least 1/2" (one-half of an inch) to the magazine width to choose a bag size. We also make custom frames for use without bags.

A new Heavy Metal magazine measures 3/16" thick ( 126 pages), and a little over 8" wide by 10 7/8" tall. This fits just fine in a 8 3/4" x 11 1/2" Mylar without having to fold the top over. You could fold it over a little on the top, but the frame hides about 1/8" of the top, and you have a little extra space around the edges anyway so it makes it look uniform.

The most that will fit in a 8 3/4" x 11 1/2" Mylar bag is about 8 1/8" to 8 1/4" for a 3/16" thick mag, and 8 5/16" wide for a 1/8" thick magazine. 11 1/8" to 11 1/4" will fit height-wise. I can adjust the frame height depending on the magazine height.

I do recommend using the Mylar bags, but if there is something that doesn't fit in a bag, or you simply don't want to use a bag, you can always order your size and specify that you want a custom fit frame for your magazine without using the bag and just give me the measurements and thickness of the magazine. Please order a cooresponding size frame though.
